Bit of fun here, have you ever done this? http://www.thisdayinmusic.com

It shows you what song was at No.1 on the day you were born.

(Go to 'Birthday No.1' at the top of the site, it’s free, you don’t have to log in).

My number 1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jacskon in Australia

Some are better than others!

Sorry,I did not check out the cool web-site,but I do remember vividly the very first two songs(I remember hearing--curretly playing on the radio) when i was growing up.They were "saturday in the park" by Chicago(transit authority) and "Benny and the jets" by Elton John. Merry Christ--mas to all. Chaz.

If you were born before 1952, you can now go back to 1946 to see the # 1.

James Brown changed accommodations behind bars after $40000 in cash and cheques was discovered in his minimum security cell. The Godfather of Soul had been given a six year sentence the previous December after several run-ins with the law, including illegal gun possession, resisting arrest, assault and leading the authorities on a number of car chases. His new home was at a medium security cell at the Stevenson Correctional Institute.
