ok hendrix was a champ and all that i love his music but how many people can make a great solo and at the same time be spinning around on the floor like angus he first played when he was 16 and he was excellent

Cliff burton, Geddy Lee and Les Claypool are by far the best bassist ever. They played with their fingers like real bassist. They could play solos and all brought the bass from a backup instrument to a leading instument in the band. You can acually hear their bass lines and they were molodicly and harmonicly incredible.

I have to agree with james that Roger Taylor is the best drummer ever, he is amazing in all diffrent ways. I preaty much think the same as james`s comments on him (His comments are on page 11 and please comment back about our views thanks)

i just have one thing to say. Whoever didnt put Freddie Mercury as the best vocalist needs to listen to him. He`s f**king amazing

Here is my list for vocalist and drummer, in order of greatness:
Vocals: Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Lee, Fogerty.
Drums: Danny Carey (Tool), Neil Peart, Keith Moon.

As you can see Tool feature heavily in my list. There is a reason they are my favourite band, and there is a reason I get chills when I listen to Danny`s drumming or Maynard`s vocals.

If you call yourself a music lover and you haven`t heard much or any Tool I suggest you go and do it now (I particularly suggest something off Lateralus). If, after listening, you don`t agree that Danny Carey is the best dummer ever and Maynard is the best singer I think there`s something wrong with your ears. Don`t get me wrong, I love Peart and Moon and they have amazing talent, but Carey is undoubtedly number 1.

Yeah no better group out there than Tool. Seeing Danny drum to Reflections is just sick. Best drummer ever. How Adam Jones didnt get on the guitar list is beyond me.
