I`ll start with the easiest,

Drummers: Some people like Bonham, and keith moon, others say Mike portnoy...they are all awsome... But Neil Peart is definately the best. (dont forget he`s an awesome writer)

Bassist: I would have to say Geddy Lee

Guitarist: Hendrix or Clapton probly have the most talent.(but i still like Alex Lifeson better, he puts the finishes the power trio)

Singing: to pick a singer is tough,, freddy is mint and there are many others its a very close game, but once again i like rushes geddy lee


So if i were to make a dream band i guess i would probly just stick with Rush...RUSH IS AWESOME EH!

hello again....i just read back on some of the replys ahead of mine.....dont get me wrong everyone has their opinion..someone said bonham was overrated..i agree with them....bonham was good and dont get me wrong he was influecial...but he just isnt as good a peart...everyone can say what they want.... keith moon..he is good influencial for sure but still neil is better... buddy rich i cant say on him... i know he is one of the most influencial but if i hadnt heard him yet than he cant be better than peart...mike pornoy...he is fast and has a nice set HUGE ...but if u havent checked then check out neils set....besides he is better anyway who cares about the set.....

one person said a comment about the dream bands....sure u can think a band up but it doesnt matter becuase it wont have chemistry and it will likely suck... bassists are definatly under rated.... i like black sabbath bass riff and flea is definatly awesome but the one name that still sticks out is Geddy lee...his music is awesome and his singing( i like his high pitch voice it fits the music well) freddy is awesome to but i like geddy because he is in rush lol...

paige is too over rated for sure..he is good but over rated... angus young is awsome i used to love ac/dc # 1 until i listened to rush....alex lifeson is far to under rated he is awsome and is the third part of the power tri rush(its something in his music that is very distinctive and i like it more than many others)hendrix is definatly talented bu i just dont like his music that much...

and the best guitar player is Dimbag Darrel, he is died at december 2004

A lot of you call eric clapton as best guitar player. For me he is absolutly one of the best but his Mentor and Friend B.B. King is definitly the best Guitar player in technics and talent. I know he s not a "rocker" but with his style he prepared the way for rock music and guitar sound. He aslo inspired a lot of other musicens like eric clapton bryan adams, angus young. cause this B.B.King is the best guitar player. Thanks

Singer- Layne Staley. Hands down. He put more emotion in his vocals then half the musicians out there combined. Not to mention his live performance. Great guy too.

Guitar- Angus, Randy Rhoads,Hendrix, Page. You have to play with feeling. Speed without feeling is like diarrea- like Malmsteen.

Drums- I always thought Lars could play all right. Bonham too. And that guy who played w/ AC/DC on the 1990 Donnington video. Wasn`t it Chris or something? Chris Slade.

Bass- Les Claypool, or Cliff.

Heh, that would be a strange band- Layne, Angus (or Hendrix), Lars, and Les. I wonder how that would turn out.

Crystal.. u tryin to tell me that James does not have one of the best vocals out there? ur mistaken... he is the best.. i dont know anyone who can sing or even write lyrics like James Hetfield. he is the best!

James did have a OK voice back in the day, I`ll agree with you on that. NOT THE BEST. I like Metallica, I have Master of Puppets in my stereo and Kill em` All in my computer right now. And he does write some of the best lyrics in the business. But somewhere between the black album and the present day, he kind of lost my vote on best vocalist.

Ok let me start withh you people who are saying that james is the best singer and song writer ever, you are all so wrong. Metallica are good and their are one of my most favorate bands but James is not the best ever, the best ever is Freddie Mercury with out a doubt listen to Queen 1, Queen 2, A Night At The Opra, and Sheer Heart Attack. all thease albums are Queens first four albums in order and there are the best queen albums dont get me wrong evry album queen have done are all fantastic but the first four albums are just unreal.Do you know that metallica are infulenced by Queen so much their brougt out there own version of Ston cold crazy which is on the Sheer Heart Attack album bet some of you Metallica fans didnt know that one. ROGER TAYLOR is the BEST DRUMMER EVER !!!
