How many of you know Ginger Baker?

I think Ginger Baker was not as good as Keith Moon or Neil Peart. And Jimmy Page would be a better guitarist in band 'cos Hendrix loved being a main star and Page's riffs were better in my opinion. Then Mercury was deffinetely greatest vocalist ever but I respect your opinion.

This is a response to an entry on the last page, but dhawo, if you wanna hear something really great by bonham that topped even peart, listen to moby dick, or even better yet, the live version, phenomenal.

As for Peart, I've got a couple buddies who are pretty good drummers, and they always seem to give peart credit for being incredibly precise in the way he hits his drum, not really on the technicality of his playing. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a phenomenal drummer, but I've listened to a lot of rush, and nothing really stood out to put him head and shoulders over Bonzo and Keith Moon, my 2 personal favorite drummers. Just my opinion though, I play guitar not drums, so I'm not the greatest at judging them, just going off my buddies opinions.

and another lead guitarist who was a phenom, when he was playing with Carlos Santana at the age of 15 is Neal Schon of Journey, and absolutely the real deal live. I saw him and Steve Perry in 1983 and they sounded as good as any studio recording they had. Which is the real test.
