Look, i was having this conversation with my friend. And the key word is influential. So i don`t want to hear about the best band. If you think that the beatles are the most influential, then well and good, but i would disagree, because although they are still probably the best band ever, i would see more of a sex pistols sort of thing in many bands since late 70`s. And i don`t just mean music wise, i mean lifestyle wise. To me, it is the sex pistols by a margin.

How can you even compare coheed and cambria to the most influencial rock bands of ALL TIME.  I could name over 100 bands way better then them.  Not to mention they were not even around in the 70`s.

i think elvis was pretty influetial. but even he was just playing blues. jimmi hendrix is up there for me aswell plus nirvana
