I`ve been looking for Shostakovich sheet music, but apparentely sheetmusicarchive.net and every other online sheet music site refuses to host them due to copyright issues. Does anyone the general status of those copyrights (eg who holds them and when some of them will expire)?

lately there`s a storm going on copyrights of Russian compsoers (except Rachmaninov and such). Their music are hard to buy, let alone finding free music sheets...

As of why, I`m clueless.

Oh My Gosh, I didn`t pay attention to that part before. argh how stupid I am. no wonder there is none. There is one I could get from that one Fantasia 2000 piano book but its simpler then the original. Even as a score book its hard to find. hopefully one of the copyright thing expires soon.
