My latest work is the first movement of a large symphonic poem "Cantabile". The first movement (called "Souffle le vent" or "Cry of the winds") was given its premiere performance in June with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. I have gotten permission to put an mp3 excerpt on my website and would like to get some feedback from the internet users interested in classical music

Wow!!!!!that was the 1st word that came 2 my head when i heard the violin and piano one.my friend and i both play violin(in a all female chamber orchestra)and do many piano concerts.we find it very hard 2 find pieces which compliment our styling on them.normally i play violin and she plays piano coz i can get into the pieces on the violin she plays on the piano, more than the piano parts as it isnt my choice of style.but when i play piano parts that i choose i can get into them as well. all i can say is dont stop composing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!all my luck

Hi, thanks for the replies!

I`m happy you liked my piece for violin and piano "Journey in time" - don`t worry, I have no plans to stop composing ;-)

Very nice, though I myself do not compose for voice. I am an aspiring master composer and have a personal site at http://www.geocities.com/vangriegm/index.html where you can listen to some of my works in progress. Give a listen and tell me what you think.
